Lending Hands is absolutely the most amazing service I've ever worked with. Such precision and professionalism from Brittney and her staff. Having a limited amount of time to find a place that was the right fit for my mother was a very stressful moment for me. I really wanted to bring her home with me from the rehab hospital after a bad fall and broken bones and eventually take her back to independent living when she was better. That couldn't happen after I realized that I was not trained to care for an elderly who needs assistance , has frequent falls and on a long list of medications for her heart and blood clots. Brittney really listened to my thoughts and needs and had lots of options for me to explore. After careful consideration and evaluation of her condition , my family and I decided that an assisted living would be the best place for her at the age of 88 and definitely needing assistance with daily living . Lending Hands staff gave me many options and met us for tours of many different facilities. The best service was Brittney and her caring staff who didn't want to place her in just any place , but really told us what would be the best options if it had been their own family member they were searching for. Brittney recommended where she felt checked all our boxes and she is now settled in and being well looked after and seems to be happy. I am grateful for all the hard work and constant communication that went into this process. This is a great company to work with and I would highly recommend them! My sister was diagnosed with dementia and after a fall needed a rehab facility and then assisted living. Living 4 hours away I needed help. Having never done this before, she answered all my questions, went on tours, spent countless hours counseling me, and comforting my mom and family members.My dad passed away a few days ago, in a beautiful facility with my mom and four siblings there to witness his transition from this life to the afterlife. My mom was so touched by her dedication, she hand-painted one of her favorite Christmas egg ornaments for Brittney. I cannot recommend her, her mom Tina and Lending Hand enough.
